Shayna Strauss
A lifelong quest to connect to the sacred, Shayna has spent the last 13 years studying and practicing healing and transformative arts. From practicing as a naturopathic doctor in underserved communities, teaching yoga and adult Jewish education classes, practicing as a Co-Active Coach and studying mystical teaching, Shayna has found many avenues to engage this impulse. Now as a mother and wife, Shayna seeks to bridge the gap between the mundane and sacred and find holiness and healing in building a healthy thriving family. |
Gavriel Strauss
Gavriel is the founder of Evolving Judaism, an organization committed to the development of Jewish spiritual practice as a means of personal and collective transformation. Gavriel is a Spiritual Counselor and Transformation Coach who supports people in healing the barriers to accessing and actualizing a more whole and integrated life. He recently left his position as Director of Youth and Family Programs at Chochmat HaLev in Berkeley, CA where he developed an innovative new Havurah and Family Learning program called The Urban Shtetl. He now lives with his wife and daughter in Nelson, BC Canada. |
